Irrational Fears

Entomophobia - fear of insects

People who don't have irrational fears don't understand people who do. I'm so sick of hearing, "It's just a bug," "Get over it," and the like. I'm working on it, but it's the hardest thing I have ever had to overcome and it's gonna take a lot of time and willpower.

For some of the most horrifying insects (June bugs and other beetles, caterpillars, and centipedes are at the top of my list) I can't even look at a picture of them without feeling a horrible rush of fear, anxiety and panic. The picture gets embedded in my brain and my brain likes to pull it up at the worst timesSome, like spiders, wasps, butterflies and moths don't bother me unless they are touching me or close enough to me that they easily could. Flies are okay in the summer, because they are quick. In the winter, however, they are stupid and clumsy and if they hit you they stay there and buzz. I can't stand the sound of them either. I had to disable images in my browser to Google "fear of insects" to get the scientific name for it.

Shopping and Food in Niagara Falls, NY

Clothing
I am so in love with Guess! I got these two tanktops from the Guess in the Fashion Outlet Mall. The  left one was $12 and the right $15.
I figured I could use a couple new beaters for summer, and they we're two for $13 at Old Navy.

Make Your Own Yogen-Fruz Smoothie!

I absolutely love Yogen Fruz's smoothies, but I get tired of paying $4+ for some fruit and yogurt. So I made my own recipe and have been drinking them for breakfast every day :). This one is the 'blueberry breeze' at Yogen Fruz. Feel free to substitute any fruit or juice!

Step one
Spoon your yogurt into a freezable container ( I use a silicone muffin tin). I usually use vanilla but you can use any kind you want. Each yogurt block should be three heaping tablespoons, or a little under 1/2 a cup.
**Optional: Cut up and freeze your bananas. You can use fresh but I like to freeze mine so they don't go bad and are already cut up. Try to cut it into even pieces and count how many are in one banana.

Niagara Falls, NY

I'm leaving for my trip to Niagara Falls, NY tomorrow morning, bright and early! It's really not far from home and I've been to Niagara Falls, ON so you wouldn't think it would be terribly exciting, but I haven't been out of the country since I was a toddler. Not to mention there's all kinds of shopping to do!

I'll be sure to share my experience (and product haul!) when I get back on Monday.

P.S. Any shopping/restaurant recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

A Look At LaSenza's New Bras - Size 30A-D!

I have been wishing for this since I started wearing bras! They don't have a lot of selection for the 30" bands yet, but there's enough for a good start.

The first two are double pushups (they call them Hello Sugar now but they're the same).  I don't think I've ever been so excited for a new product as I was when double pushups came out. My tatas are tiny and they make them look perfect! And now they have them to fit my tiny ribcage too :). (I know Pink by Victoria Secret has had 30" bands for a while, but I can only shop online there and I like to try bras on before I buy them!) Thanks LaSenza! <3

I think this first one is my favourite. I love the leopard pattern and the cute corset-like part on the back. This one's a front closure too, which is nice for when you're muscles are sore or you just need quick access! ;) Teehee.
